We enjoyed this museum. It was well Laid out and had informative signs. I enjoyed watching a kid work on the search for the mouse activity. It was rather warm inside. Some fans would have helped. And a guest was carrying on a very loud, personal phone call. Staff should have asked her to step outside. Besides these two items it was a great, free museum.
We adventured to the museum today and had a fab time! My boys of 2 and 4 had a great adventure doing the scavenger hunt! Lots to look at! Also it had a range of dress up clothes a puppet show corner and Create your own stories. great to see some step stools for the kids dotted around also. Really lovely museum. The staff are super friendly and it took us around 1 hour. Definitely recommend!
Quite a large museum, I wasn't expecting it to be as big. Various interest areas can be covered; from animals to ceramic, WW II to paintings .. I very much enjoyed my time here. But I think the souvenir shop needs updating, it was mainly designed for kids. 😊
A fantastic way to spend a few hours in Swansea. The museum is packed with interesting local history and maritime exhibits, but you definitely have to see the mummy, it’s the highlight of the collection! The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable, answering all our questions. Plus, it’s free entry, making it a great budget-friendly activity. Highly recommended for families and history buffs alike.
We went there with my partner, on the 26th july, and it was great ! It's not big. But its well made, we liked the mummy room and the reconstitution of the house with the grandma inside it. Also the animals room had some very interesting things about evolution, extinction, and about protecting animals. People were very nice too !
