A lovely walk through Swinley forest this Easter Sunday. A very sunny & clear day to walk, such a vast forest shared with the military, plenty of nice paths to walk or cycle, there is a map showing you the paths by the entrance from the old dene direction in Kings ride. If you are after some fresh air with lovely surroundings it is definitely work a visit.

Stunning forest all year round with huge area to walk and cycle — giant firebreaks going for miles. Also dedicated mountain bike tracks with a simple green trail that’s fun and easy for younger kids, then longer ones that go for several miles. Bike rental too but £££££ Also hosts the biggest Go Ape raised obstacle course in the UK.

Without a doubt, one of our all-time favourite places to visit—whether it's with friends, family, or even just for a solo walk. No matter the weather—rain or shine—it never loses its charm and that feeling of the great outdoors. It’s perfect for long walks or bike rides, you can hire both standard bikes and e-bikes on site. There is also a Go Ape located within the forest, offering a fun treetop experience for both children & adults. There’s plenty of parking available, so you never need to worry about finding a space—even on busier days. A well looked after adventure playground, which is suitable for children of all ages. Perfect for a peaceful nature walk, an action-packed day out, or simply to relax and enjoy the outdoors, - never gets old.
