This is an excellent place to visit, well maintained and looked after. Various types of habitats can be found here in this reserve. Lots of wild flowers in the summer and many species of butterflies, dragonflies and other insects. The lake is also home to many species of birds. A wonderful place for nature photography all year round.

Beautiful place to visit and enjoy the day walking, jogging or fishing by the river. Nice views, clean hiking trails.

Good place for nature lovers with all the different birds that visit. Kids can have a run about and there are plenty of benches for the weiry walker. There a few information boards about what you could see at the reserve.

Loved it here.. You need to park over the road and cross over.. Once you get away from the traffic.. A really peaceful experience with a hint of old worldyness about it.. A rare little find 😊

It's really beautiful there, good for bird watching too. It's maintained well, locals put alot of work into it. Great place to take the dogs to, shallow parts of the lake are available so if they enjoy swimming it's perfect. Also has a nice jetty to stand and feed the ducks etc on.
