Unfortunately wasn’t the greatest visit. Have had a previous fantastic visit, but this time I can’t say it was great.. I was called to say that I’d be delayed an hour (no problem), so my booking pushed back to 10:30pm. I can only imagine this was to being overbooked..?There was so many people.. Didn’t actually start driving till around 11:45pm..had to wait 30minutes for our briefing, then for 2 other groups to finish their races, with downtime between each race. We were given a free drink for compensation, but this took a long time to acquire. Our lockers were also broken, so we had to ask staff to unlock them every time so we could get our belongings out. On track, our first race was fine, with about 10/15 minutes break. But this was only because it was now past closing and the other two groups had gone.. we were then asked if we’d like to do an extra long 30minutes race (our 2 races left in 1), in which we agreed because by this point we weren’t leaving till close to 1am. Booking my race to start at 10 with arrival for 9.20 for the brief as instructed, we hadn’t left till 1am. Overall, a very long, hot, stressful and inpatient day. And very poorly managed

I have been to this track about 10 times, and the team are always very welcoming and friendly. The staff are always open to giving you more tips on how to improve your lap time, as well as having an enjoyable conversation about karting. You get a good amount of time on the track per session, and each lap gives you a bit of a better understanding about how much speed and breaking you need where. One thing I would change is in the briefing they should be a little section to help inexperienced drivers with how to get around corners safely. They do mention that you should take more care on the lower level due to it being slightly more slippery, however, I found several times that some people would put too much power into going around the corners. This often caused accidents due to them crashing into the walls and cutting up other drivers.

There was 8 of us and had a very good morning racing.Hanna was very good at her job and made us all very welcome.The track was better than we were expecting for being inside was plenty wide enough to get past. Thanks from all of us

Had a great time at Basildon! The track is truly a challenge. It’s really slippery downstairs, which I loved because you have to work much harder to control the car. This makes the whole race more exciting than a typical grip track. A big shout out to Sam on the track too. He was right on target, getting to any crashes quickly so we could get back to racing without waiting around. I completely recommend this place, and I will definitely return for another round.

Absolutely unreal night at TeamSport go-karting 🔥 Staff were top tier from the moment we walked in, super welcoming and explained everything clearly so everyone knew what was going on. There was about 15 of us and the vibe was quality. The marshals let us race and have fun, even when it got competitive, but when things got a bit wild they stepped in quick and handled it properly. A couple of black flags came out, we got pulled in, rules explained clearly about safety and no contact, and fair play to them, it was all respected. After that it was full send again and the night was spot on. Perfect balance between letting you enjoy yourself and keeping it safe. Proper well run, great atmosphere, and a brilliant group night out. 100 percent recommend. We’ll definitely be back 🏁🔥
