Great venue and professional staff, took great care of us and came all the way from York !!!! This is an amazing track with variety of turns and corners and tests you really well. Highly recommend. Shoutout to Josh for being an amazing host and Juniper, Luke and Gabriel for making sure we followed the rules strictly and enjoyed simultaneously.

Had an amazing experience at TeamSport Indoor Go Karting. The whole session was well organised, the karts were great, and the track was a lot of fun. A special mention to Elliot, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. He went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time and made the experience even better. His positive attitude and excellent customer service really stood out. Would definitely recommend TeamSport to anyone looking for a fun day out, and we'll definitely be coming back! Thanks again, Elliot! 🏁👏

This experience was attending a stag do. I believe 17 racers for a private event. It was my 1st time at this venue. No issue with booking in there was a process and it was followed. I thought it was a bit poor that given there were 2 drivers cancelling and one on the day that the obligatory balaclavas could have been absorbed. it didn't leave a great 1st impression if I'm honest. We went onto the briefing. I understand that there would have been a constant flow of racers on a weekend however I have to say that the guy who did the briefing seemed disinterested, moving all over the stage, muffling and had a distracting habit of throwing his radio out of his hand and catching it. I get that he must be bored delivering this so many times but as my first time there listening to a safety brief didn't portray professionalism. The rest of the day went OK. There seemed to be some marshals who obviously were very experienced and some not so. I thought they overall managed the Yellow and Red flags well. Speaking afterwards quite a few racers got black flagged for inconstant reasons. I'm sure everyone that gets blacked flagged thinks they were innocent. Overall the experience was OK.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a while, & after receiving an email asking for feedback I thought I should, especially as my son has now been attending for close to a year. My son attends the Monday Race Academy sessions every week at TeamSport Indoor Karting Leeds, and it has been as a whole, a very positive experience for him. Karting is something he absolutely loves & it has become the highlight of his week. I do want to give credit to some of the staff there such as Matthew, who is fantastic with both kids and parents. He genuinely goes above & beyond, taking the time to encourage the drivers, give helpful advice, & support their confidence. My son especially looks forward to Mondays when Matthew is there guiding them on & off the track. Over the past year I have seen a huge improvement in my son’s confidence & driving ability, much of which comes from Matthew’s encouragement & guidance. Staff like Matthew who mentor the drivers make a huge difference to the overall experience. Lewis is also very supportive, regularly checking in with drivers of all ages & helping them get the most from their sessions. He is also very good with the parents & very helpful if there are any questions or concerns. I’d also like to mention Mark, who used to work there — he was friendly, approachable, supportive, & made a big positive impact on the atmosphere. I wish him the very best in whatever he goes on to do. Staff like Matthew & Lewis are a huge reason we continue to come back. When staff genuinely care about the drivers, especially those who come week on week it makes a big difference to both the kids & parents. It really does show which staff members see each driver as an individual person with strengths & struggles that need supporting rather than seeing them as a number or pound sign! Unfortunately I do need to mention that I feel there are a few areas for improvement. Sometimes there is a lot of stopping and starting during races, which makes it hard for drivers to get into a rhythm. It can also be frustrating when advanced drivers are on track with younger cadet karts, which can lead to collisions. Separating cadet karts from faster junior/adult karts in certain sessions could help & also gives younger drivers a chance of getting a podium position, which they have no chance when with cars that can do twice the speed they can. Sessions are advertised as 15 minutes each, but often drivers are brought off early, which adds up over time. The most concerning experience we had was on Monday 9th March when none of the regular staff appeared to be there, & the evening felt poorly managed & chaotic compared to the usual standard. Constant Grid starts were carried out on a corner near the pit lane, resulting in multi-kart collisions, & drivers were repeatedly stopped & restarted. Several collisions went unnoticed by staff & had to be flagged by parents & family members in order to get the attention of staff members. My son was driving a kart producing thick black smoke and unusual noises, yet it was not checked. Some karts also appear faster than others, which can make lap times feel unfair. I have sent an email regarding some of these and further issues due to the character limit here. I will hopefully receive a response to this email as I would appreciate the opportunity to discuss some of these issues further. I do have to mention however, when the regular team runs the sessions, the experience is by far superior & the kids absolutely love it. The Race Academy is a brilliant opportunity for young drivers. My son genuinely looks forward to coming every week, & we really appreciate the staff who care about the kids & their progress. Matthew really does stand out in a very positive way & for one am very grateful. With a little more consistency in session timing, kart maintenance, & how races are run, this place has the potential to be outstanding. I hope this feedback is helpful & would be happy to discuss it further if management would like to look into any of these points.
