We had a fantastic time at Tenpin Leeds as a father-and-son duo. The venue is a beautiful 22-lane bowling centre that is clearly very well maintained. One thing we really appreciated was that there was no need to change into bowling shoes—you can use your own shoes, which makes the experience much more convenient. The bowling experience itself was excellent. Everything worked perfectly throughout our visit, with no glitches or equipment issues at all. The lanes and facilities were in great condition, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. There are also plenty of places to sit, relax, and enjoy a drink while you're there. After finishing our bowling game, we spent some time playing the arcade video games and a few rounds of air hockey, which added even more fun to the visit. All in all, we spent around an hour and a half there and thoroughly enjoyed every minute. It's a great place for families, friends, or anyone looking for a fun outing. We would definitely recommend Tenpin Leeds and look forward to visiting again.

I've literally just got back from bowling and am excited to leave a review. I've read the other reviews and I'm quite surprised what others have said. First, the central bookings team were so, so helpful. I booked the wrong day and they sorted our booking without any fuss. The lady that I spoke to went above and beyond what I expected, I think. The bar staff tonight were very efficient and polite too. As someone who enjoys bowling for fun, I found the lanes and the range of bowling balls completely acceptable. Even better is that you can wear your own shoes, and bowling balls are NOT gross and greasy like some other bowling places. We played two games each at a reasonable price. After that, we played some games at the arcade part (£1 or thereabouts for each game) and then stayed for drinks. Cannot comment on food quality, but based on the above, we had a great time and will be back for the bowling/arcade again.

STAFF NIGHT OUT RUINED BY THE STAFF AT TEN PIN BOWLING! Me and 17 colleagues decided that we wanted to spend our staff night out at TenPin, something that only happens once a year to say thank you for all our hard work all year round and it was ruined over something completely innocent and cost us a night of what was supposed to fun and a laugh. We booked 3 lanes for 2 games which cost over £300. Upon arrival we was told that we had to wait for our lanes as they were not available which wasn’t an issue as we thought we would get a drink at the bar and use the other facilities that TenPin had to offer. Upon one of my colleagues getting served she accidentally knocked a drink over, she apologised, the drink was cleaned up and she was then served along with the rest of the team and we thought that was that. We then proceeded to head over to our lanes and start bowling, we had barely started the first game, I’m talking I was on my 2nd shot, to then be told that we had been cut off from the bar for being to intoxicated to which the whole party was confused and shocked as we had not been anywhere else before TenPin, we all met at our venue for a team meeting and then headed in to Leeds and straight to TenPin where we all had purchased 1 some maybe 2 drinks. As we work in hospitality we understand that staff have training and rules to abide by but in this case the cut off was petty and completely uncalled for as nothing malicious or unacceptable behaviour was occurring. Whats baffling is if this spillage was such an issue and was a great sign of our team being intoxicated, why was the lady and the rest of the team continued to be served for that round only to be then told we that we are cut off when we all proceeded to our lanes and started bowling. The level of service we received from your staff ( Mia, Lillie and Jack I believe) was very rude and very unprofessional and again cost your venue over £300 in a refunds and what could have possibly been 100s of £ in food & drink. We had to then finish what we had left of our 1st drink that we had purchased and leave to which we proceeded to go across the road to The Stick & Twist where they was more than accommodating for food and drink while we decided on what to do with the rest of our evening. What was more frustrating is when we brought this to the managers attention he kind of agreed and could see where we was coming from but he had to stand by his staffs decision which is understandable but maybe he should have spoke to his team and assessed the situation in a professional manner instead of kicking a party of 18 out. We will not make the same mistake of booking here again.

This place is an absolute shambles with a complete lack of leadership. We booked 3 lanes for 18 people for a staff do for all the hard work our team have put in during the Christmas period and it was RUINED, we paid over £300 for the lanes and drinks upon arrival. One of our staff accidentally spilt a drink at the bar, who haven’t even been drinking before arrival, we then proceeded to pay for the drink spilt and other members of the party were served. Once we started playing our first game of bowling we were told that our whole party was cut off from having any drinks. We then took said person who was accused of spilling the drink back to the bar who was completely sober to explain what happened. The manager, jack, said he stood by his team’s decision. I think this manager needs to know when his team are right and wrong. This women who split the drink was sober, IT WAS A GENUINE ACCIDENT! The team needs training on when to cut people off, and I hope there higher ups know they missed out on just lest than £300 in bowling fees, plus the £100s of pounds the 18 of us were prepared to spend over the bar for drinks. As a team of 18 who work in hospitality, you should avoid this place! JACK, LILLIE, AMIELA, AND MIA. These people need retraining on their alcohol awareness training or they need to be replaced, especially Jack who refused to allowour party, after we explained the full circumstances! 18 NOT HAPPY AT ALL, AVOID THIS PLACE!

As an experienced bowler, I was really disappointed with the bowling experience here. The lanes didn’t seem to have enough grease on them, which made the ball travel much slower than expected. Because of this, it was difficult to generate any real power or spin, and it definitely hurt my average. That said, the atmosphere still seemed fun for more casual players, and plenty of less experienced bowlers looked like they were having a great time. On a positive note, I also enjoy darts, and the interactive darts games here were actually very good. I had a great time playing with friends, and that part of the visit was definitely a highlight.
