Booked a laser tag party for my daughter. What a terrible experience! Don’t bother going here, they asked us to arrive at 11:45 for the briefing so we could start at 12pm. We didn’t see anyone until after 12. I was told with the party there’ll be a designated person that will look after us. The only time we had someone around was when the girls was in the laser tag room and he wasn’t even up for it. Complained the whole 40min of how hot is is and how they should’ve added air conditions to the room when they refurbished. It was extremely hot in there but clearly he was not the man for the job. The meal was horrible, the pizza was so tiny the whole thing fits on a 9 year olds hand and the kids were left hungry after eating. A week before the party I called to make sure the booking includes party bags for all children and I was assured it does so I didn’t buy any only to find out on the day that they only supply 1 party bags for the birthday kid. I had to walk up to the staff everytime to ask for things like water, sauce , spoons because no one was around to help out which resulted in the manager getting upset with me because I ‘bothered’ them too much. I raised my complaint about the party bags to the manager purely because I didn’t want this happening to someone else and asked him to make sure their customer service team gets the correct training to which be basically called me a liar in a nice way and said after they’ve listened to the call I made , they give me a free voucher. I declined because I’ll definitely not being going back there.

I thought the bowling itself was very enjoyable, however the food bought was expensive and the portions small. The toilets were smelly and perhaps a regular clean, every two hours or so, would be of benifit.

Edit >> They have been very good at replying to my issue with the new system and spoke to me on the phone on how the issues I had with the system can be resolved, I have updated my star rating to reflect this. Original complaint below >> We come probably every week after school and have done for several years now to play on the arcade and bowling. So as regulars know the pricing of prizes and game times and jackpots etc from memory. Recently the ticketing system has been removed and a card system has replaced it. Nothing too bad we thought. Until we realised this was used as an opportunity to rip people off. E.g individual sweet prices used to be 25 tickets, they have now doubled to 50 tickets, prices of other prices have also gone up drastically. On the machine front you’d think that it was just the payment method that has changed, but it looks like this change was also used to massively change the odds on the games for the worse. E.g before the change the piano game had an average win of 100-120 tickets per win, my daughter’s first words were “daddy why is the time going down so fast?”, so the most she can win now is only 50 tickets for each play, no matter how fast she goes as the game time has been reduced drastically. It also seems like the Nerf arcade bonus limit has been put up massively too, as before it would come down as low as 100,000, now it hovers at around 160,000 to 180.000 which means the 1000 ticket jackpot is pretty much now impossible to win. So before the change over it was all good value for money, now it seems like a bit of a rip off, as the tickets you can win has been massively reduced, and when you do win them the prizes you can win have essentially doubled in price. If you’re going to put in a new payment system fair enough, but don’t use it as an operating to rip regular paying customers off as it hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Spent a great Sunday night here - 2 games for £19 and it was packed, but really friendly with a mixture of student clientele and families, there really was something for everyone. The staff including Paige on the main reception were friendly, approachable and very helpful. The place has been refurbished since I last went but I used to come every week, might need to start going again as I'm well out of practice! A range of typical food (including pizzas) and a full bar also complimented the atmosphere well, along with football being shown live on tv, too and a rather varied playlist of music, too. It's clear tenpin try and make everyone have a good time. Looking forward to my next visit.

Always had fun here and been coming for years, brought two friends from uni, one from Belgium and the other from South Africa tonight. We had a blast, bowling plus lots of fun in the arcade and were even treated to some extra free prizes. Can’t complain. If you want something silly and casual in Nottingham then this is always the place :)
