It's a nice walk around some fields. There are two hides. We heard lots of different types of birds but didn't see many due to the bad weather coming in. You could have a wonderful walk around here when the weather is good.

Had a horrible experience with an incompetent dog owner. Young woman in her 30s, Blonde hair, glasses, accompanied by an off-lead Grey mini Schnauser who ran up and aggressively confronted our puppy, where she then proceeded to say "oh he's normally fine!" Disgrace of an owner, this place is supposed to be for people to walk calmly. Dogs supposed to be on lead and under control, which ours was, but clearly this woman had absolutely no regard for the control of her own dog. We now have our young dog covered in his own urine and poo, terrified, all due to negligence of this woman. She shouldn't be allowed to own a dog.

Whilst taking a short break in Tewkesbury we decided to visit this nature reserve and honestly we were shocked with what we saw. Hardly any wildlife within the vicinity save for two mallards who were being attacked by a dog who was off lead, even though it says online that dogs should be kept on the lead... it's not going to beneficial to the wildlife to be frightened by invasive visitors is it? Signs looks like they haven't been changed in over a decade - weathered and somewhat unreadable. The Severn Ham at the back of Tewkesbury high street holds more wildlife, a nicer walk to experience and more conscientious people who respect the wildlife.

A great example of a SUD where simple water flow management prevents flooding further downstream and also enables a natural habitat to flourish.

Very small. No toilet facilities. Tiny car park. Pleasant to walk round though
