July 2026: John provides a great service and at short notice too. Whether you are hiring a ride for the local area or having something fixed I can’t praise John enough. He sorted out my puncture issue fitting a higher quality inner tube than I originally had and also put in the silicone solution making it doubly effective.

A real bike shop, run by real people. John takes pride in his work, he it big or small jobs. You know your safety and bike are top priority. (Unlike some of the big chains that I won't name) They also have an astonishing range of bikes for sale and rental for such an apparently small building. Upstairs Is a TARDIS of a showroom. It is packed with great affordable pre owned bikes that have all been serviced properly. I am really looking forward to hiring an E Bike from there this summer.

John was awesome. He was knowledgeable about the trails and gave us helpful advice. We got our bikes and we set off for the day to the tissington trail, did a calm 31 miler it was relatively flat. Bikes were smooth. Basically 20 pound a day rental for an adult. Just leave an ID for collateral. Would return to rent from here again.
