Went for a visit to The Canal Museum, Stoke Bruerne today. Lovely walk along the canal and very interesting seeing all the beautiful canal boats for adults and children. But by far the highlight of the day was the Canal boat trip up to Blisworth tunnel and back. Tickets cost £5 for an adult and £4 for a Child. The journey itself takes around 30 ish minutes, but considering the price I thought this was great value for money and a very enjoyable. 100 percent would recommend. Take some snacks and drinks and make an afternoon out of it. Only negative is the car parking, this gets quite busy and you may need to wait for a space.

Really enjoyed it. It looked quite small , but it's spread over three floors, and if you take time to look at the exhibits, and read the information, it takes a good amount of time to get round. It was really interesting and informative. Then popped over to the Boat Inn across the canal for lunch, absolutely delicious. Then had a walk down to Blisworth tunnel and back. The canal is really beautiful there. Al in all, we'll worth a visit.

Such a lovely spot. The museum is free and really interesting to look round. Activities for kids too. The cafe was fantastic and had the biggest coronation chicken sandwich I've ever had! Car park is very reasonably priced too. Would absolutely recommend. There is also a lovely walk to the canal tunnel and through the woods

Visited last Saturday morning. Small museum , first level based for children. Has interactive features , colouring table, dressing up and the second floor I felt more for adults. Interesting little place. Free entry. And small shop which sells gifts too.

Interesting little place to visit, more aimed at young kids than at adults. The walk up and down the towpath is pretty cool, you get to learn about how the canal and the tunnel were built back in the late eighteenth century. There are ten numbered plaques to follow that give you some information on the history and construction of the area. There are also a couple of very nice pubs to visit as well.
