This is a beautiful park. It was the first time I had visited this space. There was ample parking (including disabled spaces), there is an icecream shop, there is a beautiful lake to walk around where people also fish and there is a lovely kids play area. We brought my son here (6) as he is learning to ride a bike without stabilisers, and the areas are very well maintained meaning it was easier for him to ride around. There is also a skate park area which my son rode around, which is a really great space for kids of all ages. My son also really enjoyed the play area. Also, the icecream shop is a lovely addition to the area and it was a 5 star place that we all enjoyed!

Fairly good park to be honest, I hadn’t been there for a while. Went the weekend whilst a fair was going on over back holiday. Didn’t realise it’s actually a bigger area than I thought with a football pitch behind it. Climbed fairly high up too to get a different perspective on it.

Really lovely place, fishing lake, kids playground, skate park and lovely walks with woodland, something for everybody...😊

Beautiful park in the centre of the city! Great for my mobility walker as the car park overlooks the lake and the paths are level and smooth. There is a public toilet and cafe near the car park. The lake has a little island in the middle of it and has lots of geese, ducks and gulls. A highly recommended place to visit with family.
