First experience and most likely the last for climbing might come back for shopping. Pros: - The staff is friendly - The shop has a lot of options for shoes, clothing and accessories Cons: - The route setting is inconsistent (black routes are sometimes way easier than orange climbs (two literal opposites)) - The holds even from the brand new set are damaged or dirty and not just from chalk or rubber - The place overall seems dirty and not taken care of (mats and floors have stains of coffee as well as clumps of hair and dust all over the place) - The place is a literal sauna when it is 15 degrees outside and less than 30 people are present moreover it doesn’t seem like any ventilation is in place, only solution opening the tiny door.

Great taster session and super value as they let us stay as long as we wanted, and got a free return visit. Kids loved it. Our instructor Fitz was excellent, great with the kids and a very welcoming personality

The Prop Store of the TCA is a converted warehouse where the theatre stored their props. Today, nothing reminds you of that past. Today, there are plenty of climbers of all ages ascending the boulders and walls. Wall climbing is near the end of the cavernous hall where experts (only) can use ropes. The climbing hold patterns are regularly varied to make the climbs more interesting. There is a wee shop for climbing essentials and some snacks and drinks and food. Parking is super easy due to the large parking area in the front. Finding the place at the end of the car park can be confusing if you are not familiar with the location. The place looks like an industial facility with its empty gate house. The Prop Store is on your left almost at the very end of several converted warehouses. Climbers seem to be friendly folk.

Superb and friendly service just like the newsroom. Great relaxed atmosphere. Loads of varied climbing. Soup was brilliant...again as was the coffee. Well worth the visit...only thing I'd mark down is it's that we don't live near enough 🤣

Favourite climbing gym in Glasgow. Centre is clean and modern with secluded training room (spray wall, circuit wall, dynamic wall, campus boards, hang boards) and gym (rowing machine, spin bikes, cable machine, bench, weights, bars etc.). Routes are reset on a good schedule and there's roped climbing as well as bouldering. You can also get food and coffee etc. from the cafe. Monthly membership is a good price too because access to The Newsroom (another gym in southside) is included.
