Gorgeous garden and lovely walk, I have been three times at different times of the year. In the spring you can see the beautiful magnolia trees and most recently in May the laburnum was in full bloom. You can have a rest in the delightful cafe either indoor or outdoor. It has a cute little waterfall surrounded by beautiful trees full of colours.

The Dorothy Clive Garden is an extremely impressive horticultural project to visit. The history of the garden is very inspiring once you learn how it began, and I will leave that for visitors to learn for themselves. The flowers, trees, shrubs, and succulents on display are exquisite. Naturally, your experience will depend upon when in the year you visit, but we visited in early May, and the assortment of colours out on the Azalias and Rhodedendrons was outstanding! There are old style roses, as well as so many other plants that I could not begin to name them all. A map of the garden is provided upon entry, car parking is substantial, and there is a pleasant cafe on the site, attached to a gift shop, with a small-ish selection of plants outside for sale. The gift shop was particularly nice, with a very appealing range of objects on offer to purchase. The gardens feature interesting statues, arches, and it also functions as a wedding venue. It is a lovely day out to enjoy a canvas of colours that make you realise how monochrome everyday life is.

We went for my grandson's birthday. We had a lovely lunch in the tea room before exploring the gardens. I had been once before many years ago and was impressed with what had been added since. We didn't see many people while we walked round the garden which was good as it gave us the impression we were the only ones there having a private tour. The rhododendrons and azaleas were in flower so looked beautiful.

Paid £8pp x3 for today's visit for the 1st time, I know its time of year, but it did seem a rip off considering the season. Though a lovely place to look round we will come back in a few months time to see the flowers bloom. The cafe and staff in there made this trip and the food and teas was amazing....if there was more to look at, would of given a much higher rating.
