Great to Come back to the Weston-Super-Marés Grand Pier! Well worth a visit. £2 the entrance fee.

It's a lovely and beautiful environment. The kids enjoyed themselves, I advised buy the pay as you go coins but the wrist tickets has limitations ( you can only play 5 games/rides) while other are £1, £2.

The Grand Pier is the "heart" of Weston-super-Mare. It is loud, colorful, and vibrant, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, it might be a bit too intense for you. ​Today's pier, opened in 2010, is largely a new construction, as previous ones were destroyed by two fires—the first in 1930 and the second in 2008. It is currently one of the most modern facilities of its kind in the UK. ​Unlike many other British piers, it is mostly undercover, making it a year-round attraction regardless of the weather. It is approximately 400 meters long and is perfect for a short stroll if you want to avoid trudging through the mud on the beach itself. ​Admission costs around £1, which helps with the maintenance of the site, and the pier is fully accessible for people with disabilities.

We really enjoyed out first visit to the pier. The weather was a little cold, but our whole day was enjoyed. We stopped at the cafe on the pier and enjoyed a nice coffee. We saw plenty of food coming out to other tables and it looked really good. The arcade was also great, its whole appearance took me back my childhood, but lots of the gestures were modern and there appeared to be something for everyone.

Just as my partner predicted, it turned out to be the last warm day of 2025. We decided to visit Weston-super-Mare since it’s not far from Bristol. Even though the tide was out, we still got everything we hoped for – a beautiful walk, delicious coffee and ice cream. We sat on the pier and the beach, breathing in the fresh sea air full of iodine. A perfect way to say goodbye to summer.
