We went to see the Kelpies and they were beautiful. Parking is £10 so if you're planning a day out with the family for a picnic, read in the sun, enjoy the view, then it is perfect.
This place was amazing! If you have kids it's a must. Plenty of space to walk and beautiful groups with a pond and play area for kids. A few small shops for coffee and food and a gift shop as well. Plus the art work is fabulous. A must see. There are 2 parking areas. One really close to the kelpies and then another a short walk away. Either is a good option. The Kelpies were very cool!
Free.... Mt favourite price point. Only ever driven past never visiting. This time we stopped and glad we did. Great spot
Didn't think there was too much to these huge metal sculptures until we got here, but they are very impressive. On the day we visited the car park was free, at some half mile walk from the site, although I don't think this is always the case. The Helix car park is nearer but also moe expensive. Good wheelchair access all round
Home of the Kelpies and free to visit. Paid for car park depending on what type of vehicle you have, no charge if you have a blue badge just show on arrival. Overnight stay charge available for camper vans. Toilet facilities, changes places for disabled and baby change facilities. Well looked after visitor centre, cafe, canal and children’s play park.
