Best climbing place ever, even better since the new owners. Lovely staff, and they brought back the smoothies!!! Gym itself is great and suitable for all experiences. Lots of variety in challenges and geography. And yea every staff member is always friendly and happy to answer all my stupid questions

Held my daughter's birthday party here, didn't know what to expect, but from the moment we walked in, we were completely blown away by the team. They were extremely accommodating to our large party, coaches were superb with the kids, food was amazing too... Alot of the parents who attended were also blown away by how well done the party was. Games were played in the kids room and main room downstairs, every child enjoyed! Thank you to all of the team on the day and those who I nagged on the phone prior!. Highly recommended, will be back soon!!!

As a novice climber, I have been made to feel so welcome at The Climbing Hangar. I have received excellent support, coaching and encouragement from many of the staff. In particular, I love Women Rock, run by Bronwen. We meet for a half an hour social before starting our climb and she always remembers who we are and what we are doing in our lives outside of the gym as well as on the wall. She makes sure we all have a fun evening and also offers excellent coaching tips and encouragement.

A good selection of bouldering routes, not the largest set of routes. Avoid Monday/Tuesday if you're paying as you climb as these are climb reset days that take out 1/5 or the walls. Nice cafe and seating area. Free parking on site. If i lived nearer a membership is worth while.

Been coming here for years, although it isn't close to me. The facilities are great, and always clean, as people mention. The staff are always super friendly and extra helpful. Its a great cafe, with lovely food, if you just want somewhere to have a meeting or get some work done. Its dog friendly and well lit and spacious. The free water filter is a great touch. The climbs are always well set, and regularly reset. I love the overhang. Just from overhearing the coach for the little ones, he is fantastic. Only things I could suggest, the training room seems to be lacking a few things. There used to be hanging rings? And it is freezing in there this time of year. Sure, you warm up after an hour or so, but even just a little electric radiator to warm hands and shoes would be a great addition. There is something special about this place. Plenty of parking, and its a great location to walk the lake and close to go outdoors. They also have a great selection of shoes, climbing books and accessories as well as clothing
