The kids absolutely love it. Each room is full of exciting games and science experiments. Our kids did not stopped, they were constantly pulled into what's next. I would recommend to bring a spare clothes for the water room on a cold day. In summer it's just fine as they get dry right away. The staff it's super lovely and helpful. Our children love coming back.

We had a brilliant family day out at The Look Out Discovery Centre! I visited with my wife and our 6-year-old son, Logan, and it’s safe to say we all left with big smiles on our faces. Hands-On Learning The indoor science exhibition is super educational and packed with interactive fun. Logan had loads of fun with the marble run. The "Build It" area and the water play section were also huge hits. It’s rare to find a place where the equipment is so well-maintained and genuinely engaging for kids. Once we finished inside, the outdoor play area did not disappoint. It’s massive, set right in the forest, and caters to all ages. It’s the perfect spot for kids to run wild and for parents to grab a breath of fresh air and a coffee. We also took a trip up the Look Out tower. The climb is worth it for the views over the forest canopy—Logan felt like he was flying. Its highly Interactive: It’s not a "don't touch" museum; kids are encouraged to get stuck in. Its great Value for Money between the science zone, the tower, and the forest trails, you can easily spend the whole day here.

Science through play, you can get stuck in to everything. There's different themed rooms, from building structures, water play, animals, space room, light and heat experiments. Perfect for toddlers upto about 12 years old. There's 3 awesome playgrounds outside suited for different age groups, plenty of outdoor seating areas and a cafe. A nice day out for learning and play, children really enjoy it.

I've been coming here for years. It's great for kids, families, couples, walks, and snacks. There are a load of walks you can do in different directions, and not being in a busy area. The area near the children's playground does get busy, but my children used to love coming here. Now I love the walks with the dog and being away from traffic and in the woods. This does get busy at weekends, but head straight for the over flow car park for an easier time of it.

We had the best time, suitable for all the family and the kids were enthralled (I was worried they would be too old at 11 and 13, but despite being some of the oldest there they found plenty to do to keep themselves engaged). The staff simply couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone if visiting in the area. There is also a fantastic cafe and outdoor play area as well as open forest to wander through as well. A full day of adventure!!
