We loved the Meadows Wildlife park. My children had such an amazing time. We were able to get close to the animals and feed many of them. The wallaby and lemur walkthroughs were amazing and the staff inside were so knowledgable and passionate about the animals answering all the questions from my children and others. In the small animal area we got to cuddle guinea pigs and rabbits and again the staff in here were passionate and enthusiastic. Infact any of the we came across were passionate, enthusiastic and polite taking time to talk to my children even though they were going about their jobs. The place is small so perfect for small kids. Couple of play areas and picnic spaces dotted around. This place was a lovely day out and my children loved it.

Accessibility is doable but difficult, 2 years ago on last visit they said was getting tarmac on paths. They're all gravel paths still. If wheelchair/pram have decent sized tyres you should be ok. Has been a pain pushing round a regular, hard front wheeled wheelchair. That being said, it's a great day out and can easily be there a good 3-4hrs. Strongly recommend doing the Lorikeet feeding as was a blast despite them being a bit bitey 😆

Had a fantastic day. Will definitely be visiting again as we didn’t manage to see all the amazing animals. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Foam party was super fun our favourite was the wallaby walk through and seeing the joey’s.

By far one of the best wildlife parks we have been to! The animals are very well looked after with so many volunteers and staff on site ensuring they are well fed, groomed, health checked and that their enclosures are kept in perfect conditions for them. Every one of the staff and volunteers are incredibly friendly and have so much information they can give as they're walking past, even handing US branches/leaves to feed to the animals we were looking at, it really shows how much love they have for the animals and their work in general. Finding out how much the owner cares about the park and the volunteers was amazing as well, as a non profit wildlife park, you can really see the money going back into the place to maximise animal welfare and ensure training for not only full time staff but the volunteers too which is amazing. We booked the Capybara experience to spend some time feeding and petting Karen and Keith which was led by an amazing volunteer named Jane. This was easily one of the best experiences we've done, Jane had an incredible amount of information and some amazing stories to share with us and also gave us a lot of information about the other animals in the park too. I cannot recommend this experience any higher, befriending such beautiful animals and after receiving guidance from Jane on how to befriend the much more timid Keith was amazing as he was rolling over for belly rubs shortly into the experience to top of such an incredible experience. You can interact with so many animals here at no extra cost which is truly amazing but I highly recommend paying the little extra for the lorikeet feeding, goat brushing, animal feed and the £1 donation towards the reptile house. Each experience adds so much more to the day with the friendliness of the staff and the information that's given during these extra moments. There are toilets located around the park, a cafe that serves hot food and a wide variety of drinks and a gift shop. We went on a Sunday which is considered a busier time but the park is big enough to not feel crowded at all and you can spend time at every animal enclosure without feeling rushed or competing to see the animals. Overall, a perfect experience at a truly incredible place with the friendliest animals and the most amazing staff.

We visited on a sunny May Sunday with very light patches of drizzly rain. It was quiet, but we had a wonderful day. Our 3 year old had a wonderful time seeing a broad array of animals (that are all clearly well cared for), and particularly loved the peacocks! We really liked the clear information boards, the BSL guidance (our son is semi-verbal so we use sign language to support his speech) and the staff were all very friendly and attentive! We didn't order pizza, but they looked really good, we just shared a portion of chips and got a couple of coffees. All really nice! Would highly recommend this place.
