Such a lovely place, you can park along the front and watch the birds from there or it's a short walk for a disabled person to get to a bench. Early morning or later in the evening are great times to visit, but you could spend the whole day there.

I am reviewing the Boathouse kiosk at Ellesmere lake. We stopped for ice cream and the guy was brushing all the duck poo up, we asked for ice cream, he went to the counter picked up a cone and said what do you want? I asked aren't you going to wash your hands? He looked blank and said why? He was Asian, we walked away. Dirty. Would not recommend.

A wonderful place to take your family, walk your dog or just visit alone. Maintained throughout the year and host to annual events. The local town is nearby with restaurants, coffee shops and general stores.
