A lovely setting with lots of interesting artifacts. The details and information about the history of agriculture in Britain was very well put together with a variety of interactive games for children to enjoy on the way around. A lovely cafe on site too, and a beautiful selection of gifts.

Really enjoyed my visit yesterday where I immersed myself in social history. Staff were welcoming and it felt inclusive. I will return. It’s pay by donation and has a garden, café and gift shop too. Suggest you could easily fill a half day.

It was free admission and the staff were nice. It was a big museum and really nicely curated with plenty of interesting stuff. I liked looking for the scavenger hunt rats. Neat stuff like a vintage Range Rover and so many farming tools from a while ago. Outside was nice and there were pretty flowers and friendly chickens. We went early on a Saturday and it wasn’t busy either. But I would say worth checking out since it’s free.
