Great place to visit with several walks. Lakes and woodland, good food at the cafe, not expensive. Large car park £3 all day and coupon for cut price drink at the cafe. Children's play area and disabled parking next to cafe. We saw lots of motability scooters on good paths for them 😀

Great for everyone. Lots of dog walkers but seemed respectful. Great for families as there is a wonderful play area. If you're wildlife watching you need to go early as otherwise it gets busy so see less.

Nipped to the nature reserve for a walk,as usual we nipped for a coffee at the coffee shop. Always clean in the buildings there. However the toilets were a little dirty but it is the first time we have ever come across this and it's not normally an issue, highlighted here in hopes they see it and ensure the checks are regular. Generally a great place and a place we spend alot of time. Added a photo of the cows that are currently there in one of the fields on the green and black walk.

Beautiful nature reserve walks, so much wildlife to see. Cafe on site is reasonably priced and the food was delicious. Staff friendly and welcoming. Kids play area is great. They spent ages playing in there. Parking is paid but is only £2 for the day. Would highly recommend a visit. Didn't take many photos we were too busy. Better to view with your own eyes 😍

Nice place. Good price for parking at £3 for the day. Cafe not dog friendly in the actual cafe but they have priority seating for people with dogs in the visitor centre attached (not sure how it works if you are alone with a dog) Usual prices for the things we had (always a bit steep) but very tasty. They were able to do an oat milk hot chocolate (and dairy free cream) which was great. Lots of homemade craft items for sale in the visitor centre. So many fungi/mushrooms to be seen on the walks around if that's your thing, as well as bird/wildlife spotting. Yellow trail allows dogs off lead. All other trails dogs on lead. All trails we did (all but the yellow) were well marked and hard standing of some description so shouldn't be too bad in winter for slipping in mud either :)
