I want to warn other families about taking their young children here. Unfortunately the place is quite dangerous in some areas, which is a real shame as it has amazing potential and may originally have been great for small children. The outside play areas particularly are outright dangerous, thin artificial grass directly over hard concrete right outside a soft play area where children expect to be able to roar around is irresponsible. Additionally, following a small accident with our child related to the above, staff were very apathetic. Recent reviews/ tips on trip advisor align with this. I sincerely hope the owners are able to perform the renovations required, but until then would warn against taking young children there.

Fun for small kids. Newly walking toddler struggled in the large soft play and the tractors and the park area is for older kids. But still enjoyed it. Needs a lick of paint or just freshening up a bit.

Took my two year old here today as I never had been. Overall a nice little place to take them to burn off some energy. Although no animals there was still plenty to do for him and for £8 just for him while parents are free is a fair price indeed.

Playbarn must have been amazing 7 years ago. Now it's a little tired and worn. Everything is aged, toys / trucks either faded or broken. Soft play ok, somewhat dusty and worn. The animals section 'under maintance' is broken and no longer open. This being said my 2 and 4 year old enjoyed the soft play and being able to interact with other children. The food / drinks selection available seem very reasonable and we saw plenty of others purchasing food. So it's probably not half bad. We would go again if it didn't cost us £16+ for two kids under 5.

Went here today to see some animals with my 2 year old only to find this area and another area shut off. Tried to make the best of it but most areas weren't clean or could do with redecorating. The outside area has stingy nettles next to play areas. The cafe was reasonably priced but had a lot of dairyfree cakes advertised but none actually available to purchase.
