Ample parking. A kids paradise. Immaculately clean. Great soft play, sensory room, outside area full of play vehicles. So much to do in 4 areas. Great toilets for adults and little ones. Added bonus of a cafe and little shop. Staff are so friendly. Brilliantly run. You can book online to secure a spot as its not open for all of the day.

Lovely experience at The Playbarn today! Quick Google of nearby places when on a long journey, short detour from A14 and a perfect pitstop for us to burn some energy! Reasonably priced, for 2 adults, 4year old and a baby, came to £15. The whole facilities felt clean and tidy- whilst we were there staff were wiping down tables and swept frequently- no mushy food on the bottom of socks! The soft play has 3 areas; an amazing sensory area with lights and cushions and a baby blanket area, an under 4s smaller section, and the larger soft play. The sensory area was lovely and engaging with blackout curtains, both children enjoyed this! The soft play was a good size but not so big we lost our daughter, and we were able to keep an eye on her easily. The toilets were fantastic, catering for babies, potty training and 'little fish' with a children's toilet. They were also very clean. The food was 'ronseal', lovely panini, good sized portions for adults and children, and a great selection of snacks were available to buy too. There was a lovely outdoor area, however this wasn't open on our visit. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we would definitely come back again! Thank you 😊

We absolutely love The Playbarn soft play! The food is delicious — especially the nachos, which are a must-try. It’s by far the cleanest soft play we’ve been to, and you can really tell how much effort goes into keeping everything spotless. I first came with my older child and now I’m back with my second — it’s perfect for all ages. My baby especially loves the dedicated baby area, which is safe, well-designed, and lots of fun. It’s never overcrowded, the staff are always friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is so relaxed. The biggest standout for me is just how clean everything is — it really makes a difference. Highly recommend!

We attended the Grotto session and it was amazing. I really appreciate that they limited the number of people since it can be overwhelming if there are too many but it was just right. Everything was very well organised, whilst you were waiting for your turn to see Santa you could do some arts and crafts in a separate room. The Grotto itself was beautifully decorated and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't just the same gift for every child, they could actually choose from a variety of toys and books. I also appreciate how thoughtful they are with food allergies. The cookie that was provided to be decorated was vegan and they also have a selection of snacks that are dairy, egg and nut free. This really makes a difference. Their coffee is pretty good and the food as well. We didn't get the kid's lunch box this time but it looked really good and again suitable for kids with allergies (e.g. you can swap the yoghurt for jelly). The soft play itself is great too. Not too big so you can easily keep track of your kid. There's a smaller one for under 4's and a sensory room for babies. And last but not least, the staff is super friendly! You can tell they really enjoy what they're doing. We'll definitely be back soon!

We love Playbarn and have been visiting a long time for their lovely clean soft play, friendly team and delicious very reasonably priced food but yesterday we visited the Santa Grotto and WOW! It was sold out but numbers were kept small so we didn’t feel rushed and the kids didn’t have to wait around (so more relaxing for us!) The team had made an utterly magical grotto with the big man available to speak to kids and take photos, and then an extra magic area with cookie decorating, reindeer food, colouring and letters to Santa. They put so much thought into the day and it showed, our kids (and we) LOVED it and couldn’t recommend it more. Our kids are 2 and 4 but this seemed an especially perfect Santa experience for smaller or more nervous children. Congratulations and thank you to the wonderful Playbarn Team!!
