What a lovely place, really enjoyed our walk today, beautiful plants and flowers, really well kept. Some nice points to just stop and take it in and relax. The place has toilets in the main entrance of the building which were very clean. The building has got a café for food and drink, had a scone with cream and jam for £6.50 at the time of writing this review and was really nice. Overall a really nice walk took us around 1 hour 40 mins to walk all the way around with stops.

Wow what a fantastic garden to visit! We went there on a bit of a whim. The cost of entry and parking is not insignificant, but in my opinion it's worth paying for to see such an amazing variety of blossoming plants, trees and shrubs! Having visited in the spring time, the spring garden had burst into life. It was also a beautiful sunny, clear day, which no doubt augmented the experience. The photos don't do the place justice. The garden is beautifully kept. With formal areas and other parts that are left to look more natural, whilst still obviously being well tended. I'm not always the biggest fan of formal gardens, but this one blew me away. Probably the best I've been to. The cafe was also very good. Had a delicious meal (hot sandwich and pesto pasta salad) and cake, for around £15.

Had a lovely afternoon here, camellia were in full bloom and looked fantastic. Every part of the gardens is extremely well maintained. Not huge so half a day was plenty of time and allowed some time to sit and enjoy the sunshine and birdsong

Such a nice place to stop for a hot drink or a meal after a walk. I've been here twice and it has been a good experience. Both times there were queues to be seated, so I would recommend to book a place especially if you want to use the restaurant. The menu offers a fair variety of foods and it also has kids menu. I ordered a salad and was quite happy with it, the fish and chips were really good too, but some of the other meals were quite small for the price. The service was fast but it wasn't the best as we initially didn't find one of the girls very friendly. I will still recommend this place, the coffee area is also worth stopping by since the coffee is good and they always have plenty of cakes to choose from

Incredibly beautiful place, especially on a stunning spring day, with spectacular colours in every direction. It was such a beautiful escape, just relaxing under the trees, walking around the lake, and exploring all the hidden corners. A really nice cafe and shop full of classy treats as well.
