With a family ski holiday on the horizon, we booked a session as a little confidence booster for the children and couldn’t have chosen a better place. From the moment you step through the doors you can see how much thought has been put in to the environment. There’s something rather reassuring about watching them build confidence in a safe, well-organised environment before heading to the mountains. By the end of the session they were already discussing chairlifts, snowball fights and which runs they were going to conquer on holiday. The staff were outstanding! Everything was exceptionally well run. Equipment collection was straightforward, instructors and staff were friendly and encouraging, and the whole experience felt relaxed despite being busy. What I particularly appreciated was that it caters for everyone. Alongside experienced skiers were complete beginners, families and children simply enjoying the novelty of real snow, yet nobody ever felt out of place. I’ve seen comments about pricing, but maintaining an indoor snow slope all year round is hardly a low-cost operation. Sometimes quality experiences cost a little more, and I’d much rather invest in memorable family days and quality. Try it out first yourself and see. The café overlooking the slope is an added bonus and makes waiting surprisingly enjoyable with a good coffee in hand while watching children grow in confidence. We arrived hoping for a little holiday practice and left with two children who were even more excited for our trip than when we arrived. For that alone, it was worth every penny.

A great little snow park for family fun. You dont need to be an expert at skiing as there is something there for everyone at different abilities. The park has a massive ski slope for those who are skiing fanatics. There is a coach on hand who provides skiing lessons at a price. For those who are not great at skiing, there is a mini slide where you can enjoy by going down in dougnuts or race friends on a sled. Overall great fun, session is only for an hour. Wrap up as it is very cold in there. Great little cafes in the vicinity to help you warm up afterwards.

As promised, Jamie F and John. Absolutely amazing sound guys like friends we’ve felt we’ve known longer. They genuinely care no matter what stage you’re at, to help develop to where you’d like to be. A gentle push and lashings of confidence, these guys make you feel comfortable and relaxed and in great company from the get go. We were happy to greet Jamie F on the slope at the lift pass after a lesson. Absolutely sound guy and a friendly face! Thankyou so much for making our snowboarding experience even better. This evening my son had his first ever ski experience and met with his instructor Fiona. He can be quite nervous however Fiona was great, she put him straight at ease and had jokes with him straight away. He tried hard and listened, kept waving and had a great time, even finished by giving Fiona a hug bye. Thank you, he’s really pleased with himself and loved the lesson. He is looking forward to the next lesson. Recommended!

Great place to experience skiing without the expense of a ski holiday. It's also a fun day out for the kids. My family have had lessons here and it's a really good way of picking up some basic skills and gives people the chance to decide if they like skiing or snowboarding. There's also lots of other things to do in the snow centre. My experience of the instructor's is that they are very experienced and knowledgeable. Well worth listening to there tips. I'm an experienced skier but still learning a few things. Also don't forget to have a look around the ski shops for some bargains (out of season) and the food outlets.
