Not bad for a quick stop. It does have some child friendly areas such as the playground and the trenches, but it is very loaded with the vehicles at the front and none at the back. Good little explanation cards and exhibitions of what bunkers would look like.

It's fine, nothing special. If you spend 30 minutes here that's about it. It's very front loaded and the back area is pretty sparse.

Large car park, entrance charge was £8.50 each, lots to see indoors and out. Good for all the family. And wheelchair accessible. Toilets but no cafe.

Whilst visiting The National Arboretum,We sort out something else on our way back home, Well a 9 min detour South brought us to this Diamond of a Museum. All the Staff are friendly and very knowledgeable about the Staffordshire Regiments History. The outdoor first World War trench System was amazing, The Weapons historian let us have hands on experience with hand guns and rifles of yester year. The displays of Campaigns and medals won through its history was second to none. I urge anyone who likes military history to visit this excellenteexhibition.

We had an excellent day out. We decided to go here as we was at a loose end. The volunteer staff were very knowledgeable and passionate and were brilliant. Lots of interesting things inside and the tanks and trench area outside was very good. We'll be back again in the summer, as we have a free return! Also, see below a review wrote by my 11 year old son! 😂 The museum was amazing, it had loads of special artifacts that any fan of war will love. Also all the staff there (especially Rob) are really kind and helpful they will always help and talk about wars and facts with you. Outside there is loads of activities all the family will enjoy. As an example, I loved the trenches but my 7 year old brother loved the tanks outside. (they are all super amazing) There are special days to go on, this is the list the 27th of June, the 5th of December and more it says it all on the website.
