This is a fantastic museum. It's walks you through the entire evolution of tanks starting in ww1 right up to 1990s. It has 100s of armoured vehicles not just tanks, so many that the literally have a warehouse across the car park to house them all. Everything is explain in a way that everyone can understand without oversimplifying it. It is all step free so people of limited mobility should be fine.( there lifts and ramps everywhere) There is 2 cafes one at either end of the site The staff are very knowledgeable. Allow 2-3 hours to see most of the Museum The ticket let's you get back in free for a year

Impressive collection of military vehicles. Looking at pictures doesn't do these vehicles justice. Seeing them in person and realizing how large some of the tanks and armored vehicles are really puts everything into perspective. The amount of rare and prototype vehicles is especially astonishing. I've been here mutliple times already but plan to go back for one of their events. Probably Tiger-Day.

Fantastic place with plenty of tank models to see and a fun tank-themed play area for kids. The annual Tank Festival attracts thousands of visitors, and tickets sell out quickly, so book a few months in advance if you want to drive a tank. Everything is well organized, safe, and secure, with a great variety of food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

This place was amazing, we really enjoyed it. We went on Tuesday the 23rd of June. Wasn’t too many people around (a lot of people getting ready for Tank Fest which was that weekend) the place was clean, tidy (including toilets) all the staff were polite and lovely to talk to, and the exhibits and tanks were amazing. I especially loved the remembrance arch with all the poppy’s on display. They had something for everyone! They even had a gaming area with iPads and consoles and computers to play tank themed games. Plenty of photo opportunities and dress up. I would definitely recommend this place, I will be coming back with my family. And I think it was well worth the price I paid for it too. I think it’s so important places like this stay open and relevant so that no one ever forgets the sacrifices that these men women and all the animals made for us, for our tomorrow ❤️

Excellent place to visit. Reasonably priced and with discounts for service personnel and veterans - the latter on available on the door. Ticket price is for one year so multiple visits are worth doing if you live close enough. Loads to see and read about and it's worth taking your time to go through all the exhibits. There's also a restaurant.
