The whole reason Im in Hastings. This was a bucket list thing. I loved it. The only shame was the replicas and mock ups. No museum should have to have those. True crime paraphernalia is bogarted by us. We collect, swap and sell it and stick it in cabinets and nobody sees it.. While places like this have replicas. Ive never been to a museum which has as many mock ups as it does actual true objects. I have some letters and drawings at home. I think I'll email them and see if they're interested in them.

Loved the true crime museum experience. As someone who is really interested in true crime, I found it both fascinating and informative. The artefacts are clearly laid out, and the environment really helps set the scene and creates an eerie atmosphere. It’s also really interesting that two of the artefacts are linked to the actual creator of the museum. The staff are friendly and helpful throughout. I would definitely recommend it.

Decent museum with lots of factoids I enjoyed reading about. Yes, lots of the info is outdated (such as noting “recent” dates up to 2020something). But it’s all morbidly fascinating. A bit expensive but I spent at least 2 hours there.

This was very interesting, lots of information about all sorts, some of it a little outdated now - referring to future release dates in 2017 etc, but not unexpected with the amount of information to keep up to date. Museum contained a mix of things that are ‘common knowledge’ and things I didn’t know (despite having an interest in true crime). Some exhibits that are interactive (smelling scents, detecting blood etc) as well as things to look at and learn about. The place isn’t huge but you can spend an hour or so looking around and being able to bring a dog made it easier as mine came on our day out (also the kind treat for the pup when we got our tickets was a nice touch). Not a bad little museum. We did freeze a bit particularly inside the cave on a drizzly, grey day. It might’ve actually been colder inside than outside, so be sure to wrap up. It’s good that tickets last all day too, so you could come and go - although you can definitely see everything within the hour. I would recommended it to others with a true crime interest.
