Valley Railway Adventure is a family-friendly heritage railway attraction located at The Valley Retail Park in Evesham. Founded in 2001 and previously known as Evesham Vale Light Railway, it operates a fleet of three working steam engines and one diesel locomotive on a 15-inch gauge track that loops for 1 mile through picturesque countryside. Visitors can enjoy train rides with the first departure at 10:15am, with opportunities to disembark at a second station to explore an on-site play fort. The venue offers much more than just railway experiences—an 18-hole Aztec-themed adventure golf course caters to all ages and abilities, whilst an adjacent soft play centre features baby and toddler facilities, gymnastics, trampolining, and ninja classes. Miles of country walks through fields, woods, and down to the River Avon provide additional outdoor activities. The venue is open every weekend year-round, selected Wednesdays, and daily during school holidays. It's dog-friendly with free parking and day tickets available. The surrounding Valley Retail Park offers approximately 25 shops and four eateries ranging from cafes to restaurants, making it easy to spend a full day with the family. A Premier Inn is conveniently located at the site entrance for overnight stays.

Really fun short journey taking you to a little castle park and wooded area which you can walk around. There's otherwise little to do at the destination, and many stayed on the train for immediate return. We enjoyed the stop for an hour before returning. Its a great price, and children receive their own small ticket!

Oh this is a lovely little spot. Cute little trains and carriages, fab fort for the kids to play in, food nearby. We were there all day. Loved it. We will be back. We bought an all day ride ticket each. We were able to go back and forth on the train.

Nice little railway journey. Stop of at the half way station and go for a lovely walk by the river then catch the train back.

Absolutely amazing day we had here enjoying the train, castle play ground and getting to chat to the guard and driver about the train and getting a full talk through about all the workings of the train. Matt an Matt were great 👍🏻 our little rug rat was one happy boy
