As a family we went along to The Viking Games to play the traditional Viking Games. Host was extremely friendly, and explained everything clearly - lots of fun - and adapted the games to suit the needs of our younger players. (Sorry I can't remember the lovely ladies name). Only wish we could come back without the children to have a go at the axe throwing etc. Would recommend without hesitation. Thank you for the lovely morning.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome, followed by an informative overview of the morning's activities and health & safety procedures. The safety briefing was delivered professionally and tastefully without feeling overwhelming, which we really appreciated. Kevin Michael was an outstanding instructor throughout the session. His guided instructions were clear, supportive and tailored to each individual. He carefully analysed our techniques, making small adjustments along the way and providing bespoke feedback that genuinely helped improve our style and accuracy. His storytelling skills and engaging personality added another level of enjoyment to the experience. The setting itself is absolutely stunning 🌳🌄. Looking out across the rolling Herefordshire countryside perfectly complemented the outdoor activities and created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. We opted for the Archery & Axe Throwing package – Ages 14+ • A two hour session including 1 hour of archery & 1 hour of axe throwing! From £37.10 – and the two hours flew by! 🪓 Axe Throwing was exhilarating, therapeutic and incredibly satisfying when you heard that axe hit the target. 🎯 Archery was exciting, challenging and skill-based, requiring focus, precision and technique. Every successful shot felt like a real achievement. We were joined by three other ladies, making our group five in total, which created a fantastic team spirit with just the right amount of friendly competition. Everyone encouraged each other, making the experience even more enjoyable. Considering the quality of instruction, personalised coaching, beautiful countryside setting and two fantastic activities included, we felt it offered excellent value for money. The Viking Games ran exactly to schedule and offered excellent facilities, including clean toilet facilities and a tuck shop serving hot and cold drinks ☕🥤. Being a family-run business, there was a genuine passion and personal touch that shone through throughout the session. We also learned that Viking Games caters for hen and stag parties, group bookings and special events, which would be perfect given the quality of the activities and facilities. Overall, we would highly recommend Viking Games to anyone looking for a fun, unique outdoor activity experience. This was our second visit for a family group, where one is visually impaired. Last time we did archery and axe throwing where Kevin accommodated us without any issues. This time we wanted to try the Nordic games. Claire and Kevin shared the hosting, they were both so easy going and we never felt rushed. The age went from 30’s to 80’s and we were all able to take part and all agreed that we had a great time. Our niece enjoyed it so much that she is back there in a couple of weeks. I would highly recommend for a few hours of fun in the outdoors.

We had the most amazing time here for my brother's stag. Booking was super easy, Kevin got back to me quickly with options and was flexible when one person had to drop out. We did axe throwing and 3 hours of paintballing. Axe throwing was great fun, it was well taught and structured. The paintballing was awesome, with three different locations and lots of different challenges. Staff were super friendly and helpful. My brother loved his stag. Would highly recommend The Viking Games!

We all had a ball, it was fantastic. My partner and niece plus myself never laughed so much. The whole experience made us feel more competitive but closer as a family. We even had a game of laser clay pigeon shooting before the games which was fab. An experience we'll all treasure. So much fun was had. Thank you so much.
