The pool is super warm and a great depth with a shallow end which makes it easier to swim with little ones. The changing rooms could do with a good clean and some heating.

Basic swimming setup, but adequate for a local pool. Plenty of changing rooms and free lockers. The pool is well heated, so good for the kids swimming lessons. Parking is better now that the bigger car park is left open at the weekends. Recommend puddle ducks lessons hosted here, fantastic teachers.

First visit here since the refurbishment. Didn't realise it was cash only but the lovely lady let us in anyway (to be paid for later). The changing rooms were good and the pool was warm. My son enjoyed the splash session whilst I floated. May look into membership.

£4 for non members or £2 for members . Lane priority swimming on a Tuesday evening (3 lanes - Slow, Medium and Fast) is what I prefer as it's usually quite quiet and you can go at your own speed or push yourself in the fast lane if you're feeling energetic!

Me and my partner turned up very happy we had found a local pool after not finding any local aquanatal classes. We picked a time that was early and there were only TWO other people in the pool. It was the first time swimming for me in a long time and my mid wife had told me to go easy as I have high blood pressure. I did a little warm up and then found a float to use to help support me whilst warming into a gentle back stroke being aware if anyone else was around me. The lady watching the pool told me I needed to work harder like the others. She called me and my partner a joke and I made her aware I was actually pregnant and needing to be careful. She then compared me to another lady in the pool who was an athlete who had been pregnant. She summoned us out of the pool. We had been in there just 15 minutes. I can't tell you how upset we felt. Especially as I am a strong swimmer but I was just told to go easy. She took the float away and we left quietly but very hurt, embarrassed and shocked someone could be so cruel.
