Online booking was simple, and our boat was waiting for us to pick up. Completely simple. And we had an absolutely phenomenal day on the water. Will do it again.

Excellent day on the water. Really good service and very helpful staff. Loads of options for hiring and routes. We did the Buxton to Wroxham paddle. Great for those who have done a bit and want a longer experience. It's about 9 miles (4+ hours) and 1 portage down stream. Loads to see, we saw kingfishers, loads of other birds, possibly an otter and plenty of fish. The damselflies were stunning.

TheCanoeMan in Wroxham is a fantastic spot for those looking to explore nature from the water. One of the highlights is spotting the elegant swans gliding gracefully through the water alongside your canoe. It’s a magical experience to paddle quietly and watch these beautiful birds in their natural habitat.

We did the paddlesteamer trip, taking the little steam train from Wroxham to Buxton and canoed back. It's a fantastic way to experience the area. It was supremely quiet, calming and we saw plenty of wildlife. The man who sorted us out with the canoe in Buxton gave us plenty of tips on what to look out for and how not to capsize and sink.

Great location, you can choose to either head into the busier section to see the houses etc or just paddle up stream to see the beautiful scenery. I can't remember her name, but the lady that helped us on the day was really helpful and welcoming. We paid a little bit more than a couple of other places but the flexibility on time and service made it worthwhile.
