Really lovely place and some of the animals were out which was good. Quite a few places for shade which was nice since it was so hot and they have a little play area if you have kids.

I've been to countless zoos and wildlife parks over the years. Thrigby Hall is the best I've ever experienced by far. Seriously. There's a wonderful interplay between old and new here. From the beautiful stately home to amazing new high-top walks that bring you inches away from Tigers, Leopards, Gibbons and more. It's hard to explain just how brilliant the place is. It feels wild and immaculate all at once. Everywhere we turned there wqs something beautiful and engaging. Clearly a lot of care has gone into this place, and it shows. I can't recommend it enough. Our 3 year old wants to go back tomorrow - I do too.

Great place, happily spent 4 hours here. Bring a picnic or eat in the cafe. Staff were friendly and all the animals looked well cared for. Brilliant for young or not so young.

Brilliant place to visit. Well worth a visit, we spent a fair few hours strolling round. Very informative staff doing talks whilst feeding some of the animals. Nice food in the cafe and the gift shop has lots to choose from.

It’s a lovely little place, and we had a really nice time as a family. That said, because it’s quite small, I think you’d struggle to fill a full day here. I appreciate we visited out of season, but there were still quite a few exhibits that were empty or under construction. The entry price is very reasonable and the animals are easy to see although I’ll leave it up to others to decide how much of that is down to enclosure size. A good visit overall, just worth managing expectations.
