Thrybergh Country Park is perfect for a Sunday walk. The loop around the reservoir is about 2 miles, flat and scenic with great views over the water. So many birds here — ducks, swans, geese, and we even spotted a heron last time. Bring some bird seed and the kids will love it.

Lovely place for a dog walk. 1 lap is only 1 and 3/4 of a mile. The only negative is the parking £2.70 for 1 hour or £3.10 for anything longer (up to 11 hours). I would therefore recommend Manvers lake as they offer free parking (but it does mean it's quite a but busier in comparison).

It's a lovely country park with friendly, helpful staff. There's a flexi-pave path and a changing places bathroom making this both welcoming and accessible. The cafe menu is limited, but all freshly made and reasonably priced. The revamped play area was being appreciated by plenty of kids and the BBQ area will be well used into the warmer weather. I just hope the camping area opens again.

A really nice place. A round the lake walk. Swans ducks. Crows. Lol. Aroud half an hour walk good even ground on tarmac. Good for wheel chair access. There is a really nice Caffè on site with fantastic food it was so warm and friendly 😋 proper tea room with nice staff. This place is only 20 minutes from Doncaster. 5 mins from Rotherham. Good car parks £3 all day. There are toilets on site. There is a cheat for parking. On a country lane at the other side of the park. See Google maps. There is an entrance to enter there and it's free. Enjoy
