I had a really disappointing experience at this play area and would not recommend it, especially for younger babies. Before visiting (Wednesday 1st April), I called ahead to check if there was anything suitable for my 6-month-old. I was told there was a soft play area with toys and that the only charge would be £1 for myself. However, when I arrived and tried to pay by card, I was told there was a £4 minimum spend — something that was never mentioned on the phone. This should absolutely be made clear in advance. The staff member’s attitude throughout was quite rude. When I explained I only had my card, she suggested I buy food or drinks to meet the minimum spend, which I politely declined as we had already eaten. She then said she “can’t change the rules,” even though I hadn’t complained — just explained my situation. As I decided to leave and go elsewhere, she suddenly said she would “let me in this one time,” which felt very inconsistent and uncomfortable. She also made a point of telling me I wasn’t allowed to bring my own food or drinks (except baby food), which came across as an assumption rather than anything I had actually done or intended to do. Once inside, the experience got worse. I asked where the soft toys were, as I couldn’t see any. I was told they were upstairs, but when I went up there, there was very little — just a few foam blocks and a small ball pit with barely any balls. It was completely unsuitable for a baby. We stayed for about 10 minutes before leaving. Overall, poor communication, misleading information, and very unfriendly customer service. I won’t be returning.

Need to make sure fresh air circulate the room I went on sat day and I woke up full of cold and poorly ever since we visited I think it's a great place just need a clean and some air con that works as some one who suffers feom c.o.p.d

NOT SUITABLE FOR UNDER 2s. Cost £7.95 for myself and my 18month old grandson. VERY poor play area for this age range. Basically 2 empty ball pools and an upstairs area with a few foam blocks. This area needs updating for the younger ones. It was very very busy on my visit and older children were constantly in the younger area, chasing each other and knocking into little ones. No supervision from staff at all. For older children this is a great place. For younger ones not so great. Wouldn't go again till grandson is older. Would rather travel to Hull to Little Astronauts. Plenty there for young ones

Only give 2 stars is for the lady that was bringing food and looking after the table. The owner is very rude with poor or not at all customer service skills. No listening skills, no good sales points- meanwhile I appreciate places is busy, and no one really care about bookings , I still think some customer service with manner should be available- since it is public venue. The owner made me feel as if i am begging for free drinks- which was disappointing, all we asked if it is an option, as we only had 4 kids instead of 10 . Lastly they just cut a birthday cake and wrapped it in some kitchen towel, which never been explained. When i asked why cake is wrapped- the answer is - this is how we do it. Shocking customer service.
