Beautiful ruin, picnic benches. Nice bit of history. Very narrow vehicle access. No facilities.

1st time visiting with my 3 year old. He loved it. Wasn't there for long but you can certainly make a day of it with a picnic. 4 minute walk to the garden centre too

Titchfield Abbey is one of the most interesting historic sites I’ve visited in Hampshire recently. What makes it unique is that it isn’t just an abbey ruin. After the dissolution of the monasteries, the buildings were converted into a Tudor mansion called Place House, so you can see layers of different periods of history in the same structure. The gatehouse and towers are particularly impressive, and there are information boards around the site explaining how the abbey evolved over time. The grounds are peaceful, easy to explore and much quieter than many better-known heritage attractions. A great place for history enthusiasts, photographers and anyone looking for an interesting stop in Hampshire.

Lovely place to visit. My family and myself have been here a couple of times now and we all love it here. It's closed off grounds so children are safe to explore (one way in and out) if you are an English heritage member like ourselves then parking is free (£2 for non heritage members) you have benches to sit at if you want to stop for lunch or you can sit on the grass like we tend to do. It's generally quiet and peaceful and well looked after and respected. If you like history, ruins or just somewhere cheap and pleasant to visit with the children, then we highly recommend 👌

We popped in here for a little look around. And was surprised how beautiful it is. With such a good historic background. Car parking is 2 pound via a website. Small cark park but not very busy.
