Weekday visit. Not busy. £10 Adult fee which is valid for return visits for a full year. Lovely, friendly Devonshire welcome. 3 floors (lift available). Seating available on all floors. Toilets available on 2 floors. Free WiFi. All my photos are from permanent exhibits, Agatha Christie, animals of Devon current and past (land, sea and air), archeological finds and exploration (links to Agatha Christie's second husband and Devon). All worth visiting and reading the info. There's also an old Devon farm exhibit (circa 1900). There's occasional interactive pieces for children including a drawing station with seating for both child and parent(s). Likely quite educational for children. June 2026 included a small train history temporary exhibition. Well worth a visit, reasonably priced entry going to a good cause. I first came here in 1992 and knew I'd come back then.

Fantastic museum, so much too see. My son and I enjoyed our visit and would recommend to others. We spent 3 hours here but we are very thorough 😆 the staff are very kind and a joy to be around. There is a room to eat a packed lunch but you can't buy food here except biscuits and coffee machine hot drinks, which cost £2.75 per cup. Once you purchase tickets they are valid for a year if you hold on to your receipt. We are likely to come back for another visit over the summer holidays.

Visited for the first time today. We are local so wanted something near by as it was rainy Saturday. We were very pleasantly surprised. What a wonderful museum, very interesting, and so many things added to make it more fun for kids! Our kids who are 5 and 12 love it! And the bonus of return ticket is 👌! We will be back!
