Lovely forest ,no one around on our walk,beware of ticks,we didn't follow trail,we just picked our own way around and right to the highest point

Lovely forever, big wide spaced trees, mixed trees not a full plantation at least near the paths. Lovely dog walkies.

Great woodland walks with accessible paths for all. And there's plenty of off piste trails as well. Also, there are excellent natural steep and rocky mountain bike trails. And even better, on most Sundays, there is a small coffee van called Puk Off, which serves amazing coffee and tray bakes!!

One of my favourite local walks. Small carpark that can get quite busy, it's free. You can park a camper overnight. Some picnic tables. Burn walk over the other side of the road from the carpark is really pleasant, easy, well marked trail and flat well maintained path.
