A beautiful surprise in the middle of Swindon! The cafe serves hot drinks and cakes - very good!

You'll hear the scintillating sound of nature, flowing water, birds chirping, gentle breeze rustling the leaves ..... it's a wonderful experience. A frequently visited place , very calm , feels connected with nature , especially if sat near the pond with eyes closed. Especially during the cherry Blossom, there's no other place so eye catching and peaceful.

Beautiful gardens, different front to back plus aviary and fishpond. Great little kiosk for drinks and snacks.

It's a lovely spot away from the main roads. Beautifully planted rose garden and maintained lawns. Bird avery Fish pond Band stand. Swindon Bowl for events. A nice escape. Opposite Quarry road Tennis Courts. Parking for free 2 hours only.

From the end of November through to Christmas, the gardens have an illuminated Enchanted Forest trail. I was a bit sceptical at first when my wife suggested we go, but I needn't have been. Whether you're young or old you will enjoy this more than you think. You can buy tickets (for a particular time slot) in advance online and for an adult it's £15. Was it worth £15, absolutely. They have done a great job with the lighting effects. There is food and drink available and the whole atmosphere is, well, enchanting! It's so nice to see something done so well.
