Great place for a family day out! 🌳☀️ The paddling pool area is completely free to use, and there’s a car park that costs just £1.20 for up to 5 hours. There’s also an outdoor playground with swings, slides and plenty for the kids to enjoy, plus a free petting zoo. Everything is within easy walking distance of each other, so you can spend the whole day there without having to move the car. There’s also a café and a pub nearby if you fancy grabbing something to eat or drink. If you’re looking for a family day out on a budget, it’s hard to beat. Take a picnic with you and, for £1.20, you’ve got yourself a full day out for the family. And if you’re walking there? It doesn’t cost a penny. 👌 Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something affordable to do with the kids! ❤️

Visited later in the afternoon so it was still warm out but not that busy. Like the way it is now all enclosed. Still spacious and feels safer. Still not a reason not to keep an eye on the kids though, even though there were a couple of pool attendants there

I came on the last day before kids went back to school and it still had water in it. We thought that there wouldn't be any water in it so we brang scooters to scoot in it with. It was a cold day and water was cold apparently ( that's what my kids thought!) Went again on another weekend and there was no water. Good place to skate as well.

Kids had a great time but pool had to be cleared early to empty following an incident floating around in the water. At least they cleared the pool to drain it and clean it properly.
