Very kind and helpful staff, very beautiful cave, self guided tour is very well done so you can learn some history and be more mindful of what is inside, give you lots of information. enjoyed every minute of it. Nice coffee in the cafe and clean toilets even with no plumbing situation. Highly recommend. You will need to go few steps to get to the entrance and there is some climbing inside the cave but nothing too hard. Also beautiful tiny shop with lots of different jewellery and cut little items made out of the most colourful stones. And even a tiny museum - recommended to visit after the tour.

Absolutely loved it here! The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The cavern is stunning. As a self guided tour using an app you get to listen and learn and understand at your own pace. The gift shop was filled with beautiful treasures and jewellery aswell. We would definitely recommend it here and we also went for a walk round castleton and found lovely little shop and eateries. Lovely day out for everyone

Amazing place. Staff were very enthusiastic and made sure we had a great experience. We had a great time. The phone app was well made and narration very high quality from the family owning the site. It would have been great to have a small booklet version on sale for a few pounds with the narration written out and photographs, for remembering the experience. Gift shop was really great and fair prices

We visited on Bank Holiday at the start of a walk. The cave experience was brilliant, so much more than you’d expect. The staff were friendly and helpful, the audio tour was easy to follow and informative. It was great value for money - and refreshingly cool on a very hot day!

We booked a mining/jewellery making day at Treak Cliff Cavern for our daughter, first of all we had a tour of the caverns which were impressive and absolutely covered in Blue John, (we had been to the Blue John Cavern the day before and were disappointed there was hardly any Blue John there depsite the name). Treak Cliff Caverns were so much better. After the tour our daughter went back down the cavern to areas where the public are not allowed and had a one to one session mining and excavating Blue John, she got to polish the pieces she found to take home and made one into a piece of jewellery. What can I say, from the moment we walked into the centre the staff were so welcoming, nothing was too much trouble and Tim who spent the day with our daughter went above and beyond to make sure she had a great experience, all the staff were so friendly and kind. Our daughter was over the moon it couldn't have gone any better. Big thanks to all the staff, we will definitely be returning even though its a 4 hour drive. Oh and they have a great gift shop, some beautiful pieces of Blue John jewellery, as well as crystals and fossils, its really worth a visit.
