I love this place. Great restaurant on the front for the berthing from a beer to food to an ice cream. Toilets. Parking. A promenade to stroll along and plenty of space to put down your ‘spot’ and while away the day

Amazing beach. - Nice sandy beach - Plenty of amenities nearby - You can hire watersports equipment, like a kyak £15/hr or £50 a day. - The rockpool/clambouring areas are huge and great fun. - Sea is shallow entry, mild and clean. Great for just going knee deep. And the best part! Planes! - RAF base nearby do loads of training flights so you can watch low altitude planes.

A charming little bay with a beautiful beach. It does get quite busy, though. You can bring dogs, but only until May — after that, they’re not allowed. The parking areas are clearly marked, but spaces are limited. I think it’s definitely worth stopping. There are some delicious cafés nearby, too. Highly recommended!

STOP STOP STOP... Traeth Trearddur is an absolute gem for a family day out! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views. The beach is pristine, with golden sands and clear water that is perfect for paddling and swimming. Our kids had a fantastic time building sandcastles and exploring the rocks. One of the highlights of our visit was the abundance of wildlife. We were lucky enough to see a variety of seabirds, which was an absolute treat. The surrounding area is equally beautiful, with scenic walks that offer breath taking views of the coastline. There are plenty of picnic spots with panoramic views, making it easy to find a perfect place for lunch or ice cream....... Parking is convenient, and there are facilities nearby that are clean and well-maintained. We also appreciated the friendly local cafes and shops, which added to the charm of the visit. Overall, Traeth Trearddur is a fantastic destination for families. Whether you're looking to relax on the beach, enjoy the stunning views, or explore the local wildlife, it has something for everyone. Highly recommended!
