We have a daughter who is wheelchair bound, and we found this place perfect for us all to visit: beautiful, calm surroundings, wide paths. We were lucky to catch several boats crossing over, and see water flow over through the locks on each side. The volunteers were lovely people to have a chat with.

Peaceful walk along the reservoir makes for a tranquil and much needed mind and pace reset in nature. I walked along the reservoir during the school holidays. Parked for free at the mid section of the reservoir. Spotted beautiful swans and birds. Walked along the footpath into the woodland at the end, leading to a bird hide out. Do walk in a group if entering the woodland though. Saw beautiful plants and really grounded myself in nature. Such a peaceful place. Only a handful of people out when I visited. I recommend it as a short walk and mind reset. Enjoy! Wishing you peace 🪷

Took my pups for a walk around the reservoirs this morning and found it to be a very pleasant walk. We didn't use the car park, so can't comment on cost, but it looked to be very spacious.

This was a great place to visit if you’re in the area. The car parking prices are a lie though — it says it will be £3.00 but on the app it cost a minimum of £4.30. Also there was no obvious distinction between what was parking for the reservoirs and what was parking for pub next door. We walked around the reservoirs and shared the path with a running event but there was plenty of space. A nice day out!
