Absolutely love it here! I've been going to this place since I was a kid, now I get to bring my own kids. Lovely place to interact with the gorgeous birds, you can buy some food for the birds aswell and hand feed them, the kids love it! The cafè is really nice too, the food was delicious. There was also a play park for the kids next to the café and also a little gift shop at the end. It's a fabulous day out.

Lots that will jump onto your shoulders and arms and even your head! Brilliantly priced not over expensive We went round twice and had lovely food in the cafe. Staff Brilliant and very informative obviously know their stuff We even had a visitor in the car park that's how free they roam

Fantastic place overall really. Theres a lot of different birds plus a few other animals like some Capybaras, and you can feed just about every animal there. The place isnt huge but absolutely makes up for it with the different aviaries. Id definitely recommend buying fruit and nuts when you enter at least, if you want to feed them anyway. It was a bit busy on a sunday afternoon, but definitely not to the point we couldnt enjoy it. The cafe is fine, we ate there whilst visiting, it wasnt anything ground breaking but wasnt too bad either, which is fine for a place like this. Entry for 2 people including some fruit and nuts for the birds was around 30 quid, personally I think thats a good price. Be careful with the birds if you have colourful hair, one of them took a very enthusiastic liking to my partners hair. Overall, good place, would visit again.

A wonderful discovery! We decided to stop at Tropical Birdland on a whim after seeing the sign, and it was the best detour we could have taken. 🦜✨ The sanctuary is absolutely stunning and very well-maintained. The variety of birds is incredible, and their colors are breathtakingly vibrant—it’s a true paradise for photography and nature lovers. 🌈 What makes this place special is how interactive the experience is. The birds are clearly happy and very friendly; one of them even took a particular liking to us and refused to leave our hands for quite a while! It’s heartwarming to see a place that cares for over 250 birds, many of them rescued, in such a beautiful, 6.5-acre open environment. 🌿 Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area. It’s a peaceful, colorful, and unique experience for all ages!

We visited this incredible Tropical Birdland for the first time today. We were blown away by how amazing it was. They have over 300 birds from all over the world along with meerkats, maras, capybaras, tortoises, alpacas, wallabies and goats. You can buy food and feed the birds, each enclosure tells you what the birds like to eat. Some sections you can be in with the birds and others are closed off. At the end they have a parrot pathway where the birds can be on your shoulders and you can interact with them. They have hand-wash facilities dotted about. Most of the area is accessible for wheelchairs apart from the woodland walk - which is closed in the muddy weather anyway. It’s a great place for all ages to learn and interact with exotic birds. During January they close at 2pm and last entry is an hour before closing. We sent about 1.5 hours here. We look forward to returning
