We have always loved Turtledove and have gone regularly since it reopened. There is a lot to do there along with lovely staff and food (especially the toasties and cakes). We decided to have my daughter's 5th birthday party there and it was fantastic. Nothing was too much and the staff really took the stress out of things along with beautiful decorations and food. Everyone had a great time. Would hugely recommend Turtledove for a play or a party.

We had our daughter's 3rd birthday party at Turtle Doves and it was fantastic. All the kids had a great time. Karen was excellent in facilitating the cake etc. It was so easy for us as parents and just not stressful at all thanks to Karen (which for a toddler birthday party with 18 kids is a miracle!) We will be back for my other daughter's birthday! Thanks Karen and Lorraine and all the staff for making Annie's party such a great success!

Nice to visit the Turtledove Play Cafe and my little one just loved it. The staff were just lovely and very friendly. Parking can be difficult outside but somehow you will get some place in the residential area. The soft play is small but keeps the kids entertained well.

My son loves turtledove cafe, Lorraine and Karen are great! Super friendly and helpful. Can't recommend it enough for anyone in the area with small kids. Loads to do and climb on and jump off. It continues to give both me and my wife hours of playtime and a chance to relax with a cup of coffee and a bite. Always clean and lots of good quality toys, different areas crammed full of things to do. Rain or shine it's always guaranteed to entertain. It's one of our go to activities.

I recently visited this soft play café with my 4-year-old daughter, who is autistic and non-verbal. Typical soft play areas can be overwhelming for her, and as a neurodivergent parent, I can also find new places challenging. However, this visit was an incredible experience for both of us! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. Signing in was simple, and I loved that there was no set time limit—allowing us to go at our own pace. The café is open seven days a week 9am - 3pm, which is fantastic for flexibility. It cost £7 for my daughters entry fee. The seating area near the café had a dollhouse and a small playhouse, which was perfect for my daughter. She loves mini dolls, so she was immediately drawn to it. We took our time adjusting to the new environment with plenty of cuddles, and she used her tablet as a helpful distraction when things got busier. There are signs requesting that only food from the café is eaten unless there are dietary needs or weaning, which is understandable, however you can let staff know and if these are relevant then you can bring your own food. My daughter is a very selective eater so we brought oranges and juice, but I was happy that she tried some rocky road from the café, which she loved! I also enjoyed a caramel latte at a very reasonable price. They offer different milk options, including soy and oat, which is great. The overall food and drink selection was excellent for both kids and adults, and the prices were very fair. With some encouragement, my daughter felt confident enough to explore the soft play area, and I was able to go in with her. We avoided the sensory area since it was busy with younger babies and toddlers, but she had a blast once we found the slide! There was additional seating inside the soft play area, making it comfortable for parents too. Overall, this experience was amazing. My daughter usually finds new places overwhelming, but she managed so well despite the noise and activity. The atmosphere was welcoming, the space was clean, and I truly appreciated that we didn't feel any judgment for using her tablet or needing extra cuddles to manage overstimulation. We will definitely be back! Thanks for a great experience!
