Valentines Park is a very old Park with a beautiful mansion within the grounds. It has two lakes with two very nice cafes, amazing gardens and some very old trees. Lovely place to walk around or cycle

This park is vast and offers a welcome escape from the pace of modern life. It’s easy to find quieter corners where you can switch off and enjoy a bit of calm. That said, it’s not always as well-kept as it could be. Litter and dog mess are fairly common, which does take away from the overall experience. Some areas can also feel a bit unsafe, particularly if you’re on your own, so it’s worth staying aware of your surroundings.

This place is an absolute gem in Ilford! 🏡🌳 Valentines Mansion is stunning, and those walled gardens are proper lovely when the flowers are out. 🌷🌸 We spent the afternoon wandering round the lake—my youngest loved watching the ducks—and the café does a decent cuppa too. ☕🦆 Even on a sunny Saturday it never feels too cramped because there’s so much space to spread out. Definitely one of the best parks in East London! 👌✨

Valentines Park is a beautiful and peaceful spot in Ilford 🌳🌸 Perfect for a relaxing walk, family time, or just sitting by the lake and enjoying the views. The gardens are lovely, and there’s plenty of open space for kids to play or for a quiet picnic. 🦆🧺 A real local gem on Cranbrook Road — always worth a visit! ✨😊

I had a fantastic afternoon exploring Valentines Park in Ilford. It is easily one of the most beautiful green spaces in East London, perfectly blending historical architecture with natural beauty. The highlight of my visit was seeing the stunning Valentines Mansion, which sits elegantly amidst well-manicured gardens. The park is also a haven for wildlife. I was lucky enough to get a great close-up shot of a friendly squirrel during my walk. The large boating lake is another must-see feature, offering serene views that make you forget you are in the middle of a busy city. Whether you are interested in local history or just want a peaceful place to stroll, this park has it all. Tips for your visit: • Visit the Mansion: Check the opening times for Valentines Mansion to explore its historic interior and art exhibitions. • Wildlife Photography: Keep your camera ready; the park is full of squirrels and various water birds that are quite used to visitors. • Lakeside Relaxation: The area around the lake is perfect for a quiet break or a scenic picnic. • Explore the Gardens: Don't miss the ornamental gardens and the old English garden near the house for some of the best floral displays. Valentines Park is a true local gem and a perfect spot for anyone looking for a refreshing outdoor experience. 🌳🐿️🏰
