Drought means the green grass isn't!

Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens is a nice little green space in a busy part of London, perfect if you want a short break from the city noise. The park itself is clean and pleasant, with open grass areas, trees, and walking paths. It’s not a huge park, but it’s good for relaxing, sitting on a bench, or having a quick picnic. Historically, this place used to be very famous. In the 18th and early 19th centuries the gardens were one of London’s main entertainment spots, with music, performances, and social events. Unfortunately, very little of that historic atmosphere remains today, so if you’re expecting visible historical features you might be a bit disappointed. One of the best things nearby is Vauxhall City Farm, a small urban farm right next to the park. You can see animals like goats, sheep, and alpacas, which makes the area especially fun for families and children. Overall, it’s a pleasant local park with interesting history behind it. Even though most of the original pleasure gardens are gone, it’s still a nice place to stop and relax for a while. 🌿

Great green area just around busy vauxall with a city farm that is always worth a look with its lamas and goats

I visited Vauxhall Pleasure Garden on a weekday around noon. It wasn't crowded, but I saw people relaxing and having lunch. The park features a coffee place and a bar. If you're going with children, there's also a micro farm with animals like rabbits, goats, ducks, cows, and a few llamas. They offer educational programs with a "farm to fork" theme. Overall, it's a great park with good connectivity.

Clear blue skies hovering over tall skyscrapers, well this is the view in Vauxhall! Was around for some work so didn’t want to miss the chance of stepping into a park around and this garden was beautiful! Surrounded by a city farm where visitors were queuing up to meet the animals. The garden was peaceful, with people walking, sitting, playing, picnicing. Just off the main road, in the heart of the area was this beauty!!! With pubs n restaurants being opened you can definitely spot more people chilling, talking, sun bathing, sipping beer and what notttt!
