The Golden Hind tour on May 23rd. A grand day out. The train hauled by a beautifully presented D1015 Western Champion arrived at Banbury perfectly on time. The train stewards welcomed me on-board and guided me to my seat. A name card and information booklet was already on the table. A clean run down to Paddington with a reversal to ensure D1015 was correctly positioned for the superb run down to Plymouth was enjoyable. Now the fun begins, with D1015 running unassisted down to Plymouth. Superb driving, super cheerful on train staff made this non stop run an amazing experience. Time enough in Plymouth to grab a meal, stroll around and br back in time to find everything ready for the return journey. I can't applaud all involved in this trip sufficiently. WELL DONE EVERYONE

Disappointed with the trip on the flying scotsman as we understood the Friday 21st Feb should of been Birmingham Moor Street to Stratford Upon Avon only to stop at Whitlocks End and return. £48.00 for this was not good as the Saturday was only £42.00... This trip must of been added later as i wasn't on the website in December. When i asked one of the workers he said it was never supposed to go to Stratford. Only we weren't the only people to ask the question plus some of the passengers had arranged to meet people in Stratford. This trip must of been changed as it cut our night short and wasn't worth the money that was charged.

We enjoyed the Polar Express experience at Moore street Station. Parking and traffic was a nightmare but the experience itself was great. I haven't laughed that much in years. This is definitely not just for children although they will enjoy it too. We went premium so not sure about the difference in the experience for standard. The carriages on the outside could be made up better to suite the steam engine and experience. Inside was great, the actors were the best and the ride is better when it's dark.

What an amazing experience. Staff were warm and welcoming, service of afternoon tea brilliant. I loved every minute and will definitely be booking again. When I saw the Shakespeare Express, the inner child of this 49 yrs old woman squealed with excitement.

Fabulous day out. The timing of the train works really well. We left Burton-on-Trent at a leisurely 11am and were back before 7pm. Quite thrilling to power along the mainline at 60+ mph; a welcome change from the usual trundle on a preserved line. Staff could not have been nicer.
