Virginia Park is a really lovely and peaceful place with a calm, well-maintained atmosphere that feels both private and welcoming. The surroundings are beautifully green, with easy access to nature and walking areas nearby, making it ideal for anyone who enjoys a quieter lifestyle. The whole area feels safe and well cared for, with a strong sense of community and pride among residents. It’s also conveniently located for nearby shops, transport links, and the stunning Virginia Water Lake and Windsor Great Park, which add to its charm. Overall, it’s a pleasant and desirable place that balances comfort, nature, and convenience really well.
Truly an amazing walk, took 2 hours but stopped quite a bit to look at scenery or take a break from the heat (34°). Lots of History and wildlife to look at and see. Would definitely come again.
Fantastic country park with lots of walking trails around a central lake or through woodland areas. Lots of colourful plants including huge big rhododendrons. Great for dog walks although good to note some areas require dogs on leads. Lots of benches and viewpoints dotted around. Main cafe at the entrance offers plenty of drink options as well as ice creams and snack and there is also another food van located on the other side of the lake as well as several ice cream vans. Large car park to the front and also good to note the parking areas on the street are now controlled although and also require payment.
Beautiful place to visit. Water falling and gardens looks beautiful. Its about 5 miles walk around the lake. Two cafes and few ice-cream vans help you to complete the walk. Toilet facilities available. Cat park is bit expensive. £6 for two hours. Would recommend for thr families.
Great place to walk. Lap around the lake is around 4.5 miles so that takes just over 2 hours. Stunningly beautiful - waterfalls, bridges, and a cute family of ducklings :) Absolutely worth visiting, though bare in mind parking is quite expensive - £3ish/hour but worth every penny.
