Lovely playground. Great wooden area

Literally perfect, this park has all I can ask for. A massive playing field for all ages, 2 seperate play parks, a regular ice cream shop, café, a small stream that is a habitat to loads of ducks, pretty flower beds, cute squirrels, high ropes, crazy golf and real golf, a bowling club, an annual Royal Air Force event and a summer fayre event with childrens' rides and fun activities that are fun for all! Yes, the list goes on, and on, and on, and on. A fun day out in my books. 5 stars (I would rate it 6 stars if I could!).

Lovely park for kids of all ages,huge sand area with water play and a lovely reasonably priced cafe and ice-cream stall right outside.

On a bright Sunday morning, I found myself passing the Vivary Park Play Area on my way to the nearby Shooting Club, and I was captivated by the scene. The play area was a hive of activity, with the laughter of children and the convivial chatter of parents filling the air. The shining sun seemed to animate the whole park, bringing a vibrant energy that was simply infectious. The café, snugly situated in the old bowling hut, was a bustling center of activity, serving as a warm congregation spot for families enjoying the outdoors. The aroma of coffee and the sound of frothing milk intermingled with the joyful noises of the park, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Accessibility is one of the park's strong suits, with well-maintained pathways and a variety of new play devices that cater to children of all abilities. It's heartening to see such an inclusive environment where the joy of play is available to every child. The imaginative and modern play equipment is well-designed, safe, and provides a plethora of activities that encourage physical activity and imagination. Despite all these positives, there's a tinge of nostalgia with the absence of the miniature railway, which no longer runs. It was a charming feature that will be missed by many who had fond memories of the train rides. However, even without the railway, Vivary Park Play Area stands out as a gem in the heart of the community. It's a place where childhood memories are made, and parents can relax and socialize. The park's blend of nature, play, and community spirit warrants a strong four stars and I would recommend it to any family looking to spend a joyful day in the sun.

Lovely park. With a cafe a toilet close by. Swings trains/train slide. Climbing frame with slide. Far back you have big rope climbing frame with sand underneath. Since my last visit some bits have been taken away but theres new bits in place
